I am very particular about calzones - needs to have ricotta - which they offer (though it shouldn't be a pick your cheese but automatic). I always do a build your own with pesto sauce, artichoke, mushroom and spinach. Would like them to give an extra sauce on side like one marinara comes with it but also what sauce you use inside, as in pesto for me. But always good. Not the best I've ever had but a good standard calzone. Of course will be back. Been eating here for a good 15

The mountain pizza was amazing. We loved it! We were skeptical since we normally are all about NYC style, but we have to admit the giant crust with honey was delicious. Like dessert after eating the pizza part of the pizza. The waitstaff was great, particularly our server whose name I forget. She was great. If I didn't live in PA, I'd come back frequently.

I visited Beau Jo's once on a road trip a few years ago in Idaho Springs. It was so amazing I never stopped talking about it, until recently I took another trip to Denver. It was just as incredible as the first time even though with a different location. I genuinely think Mountain Pies are better than New York pizza(my dad would kill me for saying that). The service was smooth and quick, we wanted a patio seat but it was so full we sat inside. Beau Jo's cannot possibly ruin your day

LOL, honestly I don't remember what size pizza we ordered because we were pretty loaded from our visit to Coors and bar hopping in Golden earlier in the day, but this pizza was very good. So cheesy. I wasn't a super huge fan of the crust (crunchy texture) itself, but when you dip the braided crust into the honey, WOW. Does it make sense that HONEY is the best thing at a pizza place? My food goals on my latest trip to Colorado were to get Rocky Mountain Oysters, Green chili, and a "mountain pie." Knocked all those out in less than 2 days with our visit to Beau Jo's. It seems if you're going to come on a Saturday afternoon, come right before 5pm because it was really packed when we left. Service was good, and the Caesar Salad hit the spot as well wile we waited for our pizza.

Pi Day at Beau Jo's in a snowstorm? Yesssss!!!! I had roasted red peppers on my pizza and it was so good (my husband and son always want sausage so we get sausage). The drinks were pretty good and our waiter was very nice too.

This was a good and unique pizza joint. I am always going to love when I can build my own pizza. I also love when places have sauces other than red sauce or alfredo. I got a small pepperoni pizza with roasted garlic olive oil, so good. I dipped the pizza in the honey and added the crushed red pepper, delicious. I also got the honey cheese bread which was tasty and unique. My server got me extra honey and crushed red pepper to go. Glad my friend recommended this place as I was passing through!
